Google+ Cave Food Kitchen: Easy "Taco" Shells

Easy "Taco" Shells

This is one of our favorites, and the bonus is that it's really simple to make. If you already have a great "salsa"  type of recipe, you can use that, but otherwise the kapunata recipe is a great way to get started. Just add some beef or any type of meat to the mix.

Next, you'll only need 2 more things to finish it off:

- a cabbage
- pork rinds (always check the ingredients!)

To get the leaves off the cabbage properly, let the warm water tap run and let the warm water seep into the leaves, they will peel off really easy in a few seconds.
Heat the oven to about 180C (350F) and scoop the salsa mixture into the leaves. Place them in a baking dish with a little oil in it.
Crush the pork rinds and sprinkle that on top of the mixture, and bake it all off in 10-15 mins.
