Google+ Cave Food Kitchen: Whole21+: Day 7

Whole21+: Day 7

A whole week is completed, and the only thing that is still not on track, is my sleep. Decided not to take another Nytol, it took a long time to fall asleep and slept quite restless.
So unfortunately I'm not synced yet with the Whole30 Daily pattern.

Some nice food for thought came my way via e-mail, some common errors:

The cutting back on nuts is going really well, I only had a few pistachios yesterday. Fruits I don't eat that much, only a little bit every now and then with breakfast, like this morning:

4 eggs
4 strips of bacon
beet leaves
1/2 a pear & 2 small tomatoes
coconut chips

I really love this breakfast, only thing missing this time was avocado (not ripe yet)

Got hungry already at noon time, and had the following:

green beans
sweet potato
boneless pork chop

What I'll be testing out for the next while with regards to my crossfit traning, is HMB.
This supplement has shown to improve performance, since it helps to repair muscle tissue more quickly. We'll see how it goes!

Either way, in co-operation with Blonyx, readers of this blog can claim a 10% discount on their purchase, using code CATCAVE at check-out.

Another supplement I started taking are Super Enzymes by NOW Foods, to help my digestive system a bit. My meat consumption is rather high (every meal) and I've noticed my body struggling a bit.
Netrition has a good deal on them: $13.99 for 180 tablets.

Pre-wod meal is a carbohydrate & protein combo: HB egg & a banana.
Workout was tough, but that's how we like it anyway ;-)
Picked up another veggie bag for the week, funny enough it had more broccoli and butternut squash...

Last meal was the casserole with broccoli and a salad with olives and sun-dried tomatoes.
