Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Salmon

I remember my mum forcing me to eat sprouts when i was little, i absolutely hated it. Even more unlucky for me then, my own country is the biggest producer of this mini cabbage.
The bitter taste never worked for me, so Brussels sprouts disappeared out of my life, until...

Going Paleo has also helped me re-discover foods in lots of ways, and instead of the old school cook-them-until-they-are-pulp approach, i decided to use the oven.
This quick and simple dish will take about 30 mins. to make and is amazing!

Pre-heat the oven to about 180 celsius.
Wash the sprouts and cut the bottom off. In an oven dish, add salt, pepper, a tablespoon of you favorite oil (in my case; ghee) some allspice & salt. Make sure the sprouts are fully covered in the mix and bake for about 20 mins, or until brown and crispy on the outside. After about 10 mins i added some red bell pepper on top.
Meanwhile, bake the salmon in some red palm oil in a pan. Done!
